We rode 63 miles yesterday under mainly overcast, probably 80 degrees, with humidity ranging from 100 percent in the morning to around 80 during the day. That seems to be typical here.
We are riding on the river road beside the levee and see the river only when we go up to look down at it. There are many huge industries loading onto ocean-going ships.
Boiled crawfish is big here so I tried them, tasty.
We bought supper ingredients and Mark cooked.
Brian is at a dentist having a chipped tooth looked at, and we are resting today, which my legs need after the last two long days. I am dictating this on the LSU campus, which is beautiful. Heading out to do some leisurely sight seeing and writing on the levee trail above the river.
