Hwy 35 out of Menominee is a low traffic road through woods and along the lake. The day started cloudy, then some nice sunshine. Always that comfortable 20 C range, plus or minus a few degrees, for good cycling.

People have second homes along the lake, and maybe some are permanent residences. You can’t really call them cottages. Many unseen and hiding in the woods. Like Vancouver Island with mosquitoes.

Lakeshore meal

Stopped here for a lakeshore meal – I eat every two hours or so.

Will, a friend, and Suzie—riding counter clockwise around the lake. See mymonthwiththelake.blogspot.com

Yes, I really do ride the bike.

Bark River
Strong head wind had me working to cover 49 miles in 5:48 hours of cycling. Reward was a nice campsite at Ford River with a restaurant across the road. Fridays everyone does Fish Fry. I had walleye and perch, and can vouch for people’s good taste here.
